A Multi-Criteria Evaluation of Applications Supporting Public Transport Users

Reducing the energy consumption of transport in urban areas is possible if appropriate measures are taken to make public more attractive. These include all kinds journey planners that part passenger information system. Various applications available on market allow passengers evaluate their usability. This paper presents and compares nine most popular iOS Android users travelling Krakow. The comparison took into account obtained from surveys. In addition, using a multi-criteria approach, final ranking set was developed. assessment made basis criteria indicated by travellers as important ones. results showed disproportions functionality particular solutions. They also apps frequently willingly used local (urban city/agglomeration) travellers.
